Gilbert Airpark would not be here now had it not been for the efforts of Tom and Rosemary Sanders (shown above). Tom is the person who first envisioned the airpark and invested his blood, sweat and tears into turning it into a reality back in the late 1980s and early 1990s. They both sacrificed a great deal for many years in order to create and maintain the airpark. Tom's corporation, Tomasan, also known to us as "the Developer", is mentioned numerous times in our covenants.
The Sanders' residence is shown above. It's the house nestled in the trees at the end of Upwind Leg Road.
The Sanders also own a nice hangar (left). Tom is shown in front of his hangar in a close up shot (middle) and from afar (right). Tom owns two planes ... a Cessna 172 and a Taylorcraft.
